Additionally, each of them has been fined one thousand taka.
Police arrested them during an operation in the Uttar Balashipara area of the municipality around 10:45 PM on Thursday (September 10).
The convicted individuals are Golam Mawla (28), Omar Faruk (26), Ariful Islam (18), and Nurnabi (25), all from the Uttar Balashipara area.
Police stated that the four individuals were caught red-handed consuming drugs during a special anti-drug operation in the area. Subsequently, a mobile court was convened on the spot, and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Alauddin sentenced each of them to three days of simple imprisonment and fined them one thousand taka.
Nageswari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Enamul Haque Pradhan said that the four convicted individuals have been sent to Kurigram District Jail.
