Among other transferred officers is Md. Asaduzzaman, ASP of Kaliganj Circle, Gazipur, who has been given charge of Katiadi Circle in Kishoreganj district. On the other hand, the current ASP of Katiadi Circle, Md. Tofazzal Hossain, has been posted to the Industrial Police, which will utilize his experience in maintaining security and discipline in industrial areas. Tanjina Chowdhury, ASP of Police Headquarters, has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), which will provide her with an opportunity to contribute to crime investigation.
Additionally, S.M. Arif Raihan, ASP of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), has been transferred to Patiya Circle in Chattogram, which will bring new momentum to law and order in the port city. Sheikh Muttazul Islam, ASP of Gaibandha B Circle, has been transferred to Gazipur Kaliganj Circle, and Abu Saleh Md. Ansar Uddin, ASP of Barishal Gournadi Circle, has been transferred to Barishal Metropolitan Police. The notification specifically states that the transferred and assigned officers must hand over charge of their current workplaces to the new officers by September 19.
